Software tools for modeling business processes

Thesis focuses on comparing the two tools for modeling business processes -- Microsoft Visio and ARIS Express in aspect of their usability for students of the subject 4IT215 -- Information Systems Analysis and Design. Thesis contains a brief description of each tool and their application to the selected requirements of the subject 4IT215 -- Information Systems Analysis and Design that must students complete during the semester. The benefit of this thesis is establishment of criteria (according requirements of the course) for comparison of these tools. Result of comparison has been supplemented by expression of students, who chose in the questionnaire (among others) the most appropriate tool for fulfilling all the tasks and requirements of the course. Objectives of thesis were achieved through studying literature, subjective selecting and evaluating criteria and objective contribution of students of the subject 4IT215 -- Information Systems Analysis and Design.
Changes in organizational structure in relation with the implementation of BPM

This bachelor thesis aims to describe changes in the organizational structure that are necessary for the implementation of Business Process Management in the enterprise. These changes are simultaneously a reflection of the implementation. In the first part of the thesis the author defines the principles of Business Process Management considering the history of BPM. The author is analyzing reasons of past BPM concepts' failures and evaluates the current state of process management. The second part of the thesis pays attention to organizational structures and methods of organizational management. The author compares the traditional functional management with new process management approach exploring differences between them. The author appreciates applicability of different organizational structures types for Business Process Management and highlights problems between a specific type of organizational structure and BPM. In the last part of the thesis the author suggests organization changes for BPM implementation and defines prerequisites for successful transformation into process-managed organization. The author emphasizes the common risks and problems and suggests their solutions.
Processes analyse of international financial institution

The final thesis is focused on a process management in praxes. The theoretical part of thesis concludes different techniques of mapping and analysing of a process. The practical part is focused on a practical analyse and mapping of the certain process in international financial institution. On the base of the process analyse are suggested changes to optimize the process.
